The twenty fourth mission was flown as Deputy Division Lead to the marshalling yards at Brunswick on March 31, 1945. The pilot’s name was Patton. We carried four 500 pound bombs, and the flight took six hours and fifteen minutes.

Recommendation was made for a fourth Air Medal.
