We flew our tenth mission on December 31, 1944, and the target was the Engeres Bridge at Coblentz. The mission took 7 hours and 15 minutes to unload four 2000 pound general purpose bombs on the target and return.


This was my last mission with this crew; we were like a family. I was assigned to the 791st Squadron which was the lead squadron in the 467th Bomb Group.
