Rewey, John Delbert
Got unloaded and took off about 1030 with 13 men aboard. We brought back the crew of the ship that had gone off the end of the runway. Weather over England was pretty bad, so we followed the coast up to Yarmouth homing on Splasher 5,and then followed the railroad to Norwich. Called out again at 1500 and took off for St. Dizier - R/T call is "Vagabond". Landed about 1830 and we all took off for town leaving no one to taxi the plane. Had a little wine and got back about 2230 and took a royal chewing out from the Lt. Col. and a Major for not leaving someone to move the plane.
