We had the same crew as yesterday and returned to the German lines at Montreuil, France west of St Lo. We dropped 228 - 20# fragmentation bombs on the Germans, 1500 yards from our own lines. 12 bombs failed to release which we brought back. Flak was light over the target and we were not hit. Hunt saw one B-24 go down and no one got out as far as he ould see. We had good area cover by our fighters.
