Prichard, Arthur Lyle
We had a couple of days of pretty easy going. We didn't fly and there wasn't much else we had to do so Chuck and I bicycled around a little and found a couple of pubs that needed visiting. Bicycles here on base are getting so numerous that they are collected and given tags to identify who owns them. We have had numerous accidents by people who were sober and some not so sober. I talked with my firend Harold L Smith who said that he and a friend were cycling along a path and came to a small bridge over a bit of water. His friend parked his bike and walked up on the bridge and leaned against the railing; the damn thing tipped over and he broke his arm. Smitty said that if he hadn't been laughing so hard he might have felt sorry.
