Our pass ended at noon and at 1300 we briefed for a trucking mission. Brought about 1500 gal. of 80 octane to Clastres, France. Headed for St. Quentin as soon as we got there and France beats this England all to heck. Renaud speaks a little French and we were able to get some money changed so we got along ok. Had lots of wine - Vin Rouge - and it was really good. Got back to the plane about 2330 and tried to bed down. I tried to sleep in my seat and what a night that was. Couldn't get comfortable and almost froze even with two blankets over me. This town was surely amazing, though - so clean looking compared with English towns, wide sidewalks, and they drive on the right side of the road. The cafes and bars are so nice, just like back home.
