Statement of Waist Gunner (Left) A/C 95224 B-24H

I was at the left waist gun position, looking in approximate direction of 8 or 9 o'clock when I felt the plane shake. I did not see the P-47 either before or after it hit us. Neither did I see any of the parts of our airplane that had been knocked off. I gather from the conversation over interphone that we had been hit by a P-47.
