We had our regular crew except an Eingineer, T/Sgt Kingsley flew his 30th and last mission as our Engineer. We dropped 12 - 250# GP and 6 - 500# M-47 incendiaries on an ordnance depot at Mainz, Ger. We encountered moderate flak at the target area for about 30 mins. but we only got three holes. We had P-51 and P-47 fighter protection and met no opposition.
