Rewey, John Delbert
Slept late as usual. The other members of the crew shipped this after-
noon, and at about 1800 there was another shipping order and we were taken to the airfield in trucks. About two thirds of the fellows left,
but still no luck, so we came back again. Saw a whole flock of P-38s
and B-17s landing out there, also a few P-47s and P-51s. Went into town for a while again this evening to the Red Cross for more to eat.
