We flew Deputy Lead again and returned to the marshaling yards at Hanau, Ger. not knowing the results of yesterdays bombing. We bombed visually today with good results, dropping 12 - 500# GP bombs. We had a ten man crew and Lt White finished with 35 missions as did Ernie Adams. I finished with 33 and Frank Hunt with 30. Lt Breitlow flew his 34th but has one more to go. Lt Bowman flew as our Co Pilot, Lt Whitham as Pilotage Navigator, Lt Krakauer as Navigator and Sgt Kessler as Radio Operator. We had P-51 excort and encountered no opposition. There was light flak in the target area but we had no battle damage. There was a very low ceiling when we returned to the base and Lt White made a difficult landing after a couple narrow escapes.
