Our whole crew flew on our longest mission so far. We dropped 5 - 1000# GP bombs on Munich, Ger. We had P-47, P-38 and P-51 fighter protection and was not attacked by enemy fighters although there was a number of JU-88's in the vicinity. We encountered light flak to and from the target area. We only got one flak hit in the plexiglass nose. We had a slight gas leak from #2 but it caused us no trouble.
