Had them wake up at 0700 and then went to the subway and took that
to the Liverpool station. The subways were really nice with escalators
and all. The train left at 0810 and we got to Norwich at 1130 and caught a cab right out to the field. London and its people are much
nicer than around here, but it's still Limie. Also saw Piccadilly
Circus, Leicester Square and, of course, the commandos. Played cards all afternoon. Wrote to Louise and home. Saw lots of bomb damage. There were alerts both nights we were there, and the first night I heard the bombs explode - those sirens are really weird.
