IF you were
a) one of the ground crew passengers on the flight home in June, 1945, in
b) a/c 943 which required three takeoffs and
c) several days' repair time in Wales and
d) finally made it via the Azores with a total of 32 hours 20 minutes in the air - and surely the last to land from our grand exodus,
then you were the welcome guest of yours truly and our crew. Someone took a group picture of us in front of the plane in the Azores.
