Mosquito Crash Landing

On 10 Jan 45, a Mosquito Mk XXVII (HK238) took off from RAF Coltishall, Norfolk, at 1400 hrs. The crew consisted of F/O John Little MacDonald (Pilot) and F/Sgt William Thomas Major (Navigator).

Shortly after take off, and due to an engine failure, they were forced to make a belly landing at Rackheath at 1410 hrs. Neither man was inured in the incident.
