We were assigned to fly as Deputy Squadron Lead on March 8, 1945. The target was the marshalling yard at Dillenburg. The mission flight took six hours and twenty five minutes, and we dropped six 250 pound bombs. The squadron lead aircraft experienced no problems. This was my twentieth combat mission.
