On March 4, 1945, we were again assigned squadron lead. I have no record, nor do I recall, the primary target for that day. The target of last resort was the marshalling yard at Stuttgart, and it was a very rough assignment. My nineteenth mission took eight hours and thirty minutes. The entire crew agreed that we did not wish to visit Stuttgart again.
