We had a nine man crew with Lt Reed as Co Pilot. We carried and dropped 8 - 500# GP bombs and 2 - 500# M-17 incendiaries on the marshaling yards at Bebra, Ger. We had a flak free mission all the way and only saw some on the way back at a distance. P-51's and P-47's gave us good protection and we encountered no opposition.
