It was a bad night although the train was a lot cleaner than those in
the States. Slept a little during the day and got in here about 1730.
The name of the field is Rackheath, about 4 miles from Norwich and we are Crew 66 of the 790th Squadron of the 467th Bomb Group of the 96th Wing of the 2nd Division of the 8th Air Force. Had a damn good supper, best since we left Boise, but they put us in some temporary barracks that are pretty bad.
