Slept late, ate and laid around most of the day. Wrote to Louise and
home. The weather is really awful - it's been raining for about a week
straight. We stood that review in the rain yesterday and got wet again
in town, so had our things pressed at the Red Cross. It's raining and
blowing as usual again tonight. An S-2 officer told Les and Bernie today that he didn't figure there would be more than 3 more tactical missions before the war is over - God how we hope so. Lot of rumors flying around here now. The new bomb line today extends well into Germany, through part of Happy Valley and the area around Saarbrucken - we couldn't bomb that ammo dump we started out for the other day. Boy, it all looks plenty good.
