Interesting photo. This crew flew one mission on 29 Aug 44 with the 788th BS. After the 'Trucking' missions in Sep '44 the crew was transferred to the 791st BS and re-designated. This photo, taken next to 42-51354 (which flew a mission to Bingen, Ger. that day) was taken after most of crew had completed their tour of duty (04 Nov 44), 21 days after this photo was taken.
