On 10 Jan 45 a Mosquito (HK238) crash landed at Rackheath. The plane had departed from RAF Coltishall at 1400 hrs. It developed engine failure and "belly landed" at Rackheath just 10 minutes later.
Crew members were -
F/O John Little MacDonald - Pilot
F/Sgt William Thomas Major - Navigator
Both men were not seriously injured in the crash
